Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of a standing bishop in ecclesiastical vestments, holding an upright sword in each hand. The figure is rendered in the Romanesque style typical of Austrian episcopal coinage of the early 13th century. A partial legend reading EBERHA - RESCS appears around the periphery of the field, referencing the issuing bishop. The overall design is characteristic of the Gurk episcopal pfennig series.
