Obverse description Central field depicts a seated figure, likely a bishop or duke, shown frontally enthroned beneath an architectural arcade or canopy rendered in low relief. The figure appears robed, with stylized drapery, and holds regalia or liturgical attributes characteristic of Friesach-type pfennigs. A partial Latin legend surrounds the design, partially legible as +S[---]NDIT, disposed along the coin's periphery. The die work is typical of the rough, hand-engraved style associated with early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage. The flan is irregular and shows natural porosity consistent with hammered medieval silver.
