| Obverse description | Frontal facing bust of the Duke in regal attire, holding two flags whose shafts converge above his head to form an arch. The effigy is rendered in the stylized Romanesque manner typical of Friesach pfennigs. A circular legend in Latin script is contained between two concentric lines forming the border. |
