| Obverse description | Central field displays a standing or enthroned figure, likely a bishop or secular ruler, rendered in crude high relief characteristic of early 13th-century Friesach-type pfennigs. The figure appears frontal, with stylized drapery folds and what may be a crozier or sceptre to one side. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A partial Latin legend runs along the outer border, of which only the fragmentary inscription +TA[---]CSA is legible. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, typical of hammered coinage of this period and region. |
