| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a crowned bust facing front, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner typical of early 13th-century Friesach pfennigs. The figure appears draped, with visible crown and facial features rendered in low relief characteristic of hammered coinage. A partial Latin legend surrounds the inner circle in the field, partially legible due to the irregular flan. The coin exhibits the broad, thin fabric and irregular outline characteristic of Friesacher Pfennig coinage of the period. |
