| Reverse description | A prominent patriarchal or archiepiscopal cross surmounted atop a structured architectural or heraldic element, flanked symmetrically on either side by two kneeling or crouching figures rendered in schematic Romanesque style. The flanking figures appear to be angels or ecclesiastical attendants with outstretched wings or arms, framing the central cross motif. The design is boldly struck in high relief relative to the thin flan, with the characteristic broad flat field of Friesach-type pfennig coinage. The flan edges are irregular and jagged from cutting. |
