Obverse description Within a raised inner circle border, a frontal enthroned figure — likely an ecclesiastical or secular authority — rendered in high relief in the Romanesque style characteristic of Friesach coinage. The figure is shown facing, with both arms extended outward and downward, flanked by stylized wings or drapery elements. A crowned or mitered head is depicted at center, with a small globular ornament visible above on each side. Below the enthroned figure appears a rounded arch or architectural element suggestive of a throne. The hammered flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with mid-13th century Carinthian bracteate-influenced pfennig production.
