Obverse description Central shield bearing three fish arranged horizontally in pale, representing the arms of the Lordship of Reichenau. The initial letter V is positioned above the shield, flanked by the initials F to the left and S to the right in the field, together forming the monogram FVS for Abt Franz Volker Schenk (or the reigning lord). The coin is bordered by a toothed or beaded inner rim encircling the entire design.
