Obverse description A stylized eagle displayed in high relief, facing right, rendered in the crude yet expressive hammered style characteristic of 13th-century Austrian bracteate-related coinage. The eagle's spread wings, body, and talons are visible within a plain inner circle, with the surrounding field bearing the Latin legend. The design is typical of the Styrian mint output under Rudolf I, with bold but somewhat irregular striking.
