Obverse description Two crowned facing busts in profile confronting one another, depicting Rudolf I von Habsburg and his consort Gertrud von Hohenberg (also known as Anna von Habsburg), rendered in the primitive Romanesque style typical of late 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. The effigies are shown in low relief against a flat, unadorned field. The inscription WIN appears between the two crowned heads, referencing Vienna (Wien) as the place of issue.
