Reverse description The Bohemian lion passant is depicted facing left in a schematic, stylized manner characteristic of mid-15th-century Central European bracteate-influenced coinage. The lion is shown rampant or striding with raised forepaw and a double-arched tail curling upward, rendered in low relief with linear detailing suggesting a mane and claws. Above the lion, a row of pellets or crescent-shaped ornaments lines the upper field. The plain field bears no surrounding legend, consistent with the small module of this Pfennig denomination.
