| Obverse description | Central design depicting a stylized crenellated city gate or tower flanked by two smaller turrets, rendered in the bold, schematic style characteristic of 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The architectural motif, representing St. Veit an der Glan, rises above a curved arch or lunette beneath which a rosette or geometric ornament is visible in the lower field. The entire design is enclosed within a double beaded or raised border. No legend is present. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, as typical of hammered medieval coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | The reverse shows a faint incuse impression of the obverse design, characteristic of thin hammered medieval pfennigs struck on a single die with the reverse displaying a weakly struck or ghosted mirror image. A vague quadruped figure, possibly a lion passant referencing the Carinthian heraldic lion, is discernible in the central field, enclosed within a raised border. The weak strike and surface wear are consistent with circulated examples of this type. No legend or inscription is present. |
