Obverse description Within a plain square inner frame set on its point (lozenge orientation), a fleur-de-lis rendered in high relief dominates the central field. The motif is boldly struck, with the three foliate lobes clearly articulated despite the characteristically irregular flan of this hammered issue. The surrounding field between the inner lozenge frame and the coin's uneven outer edge is plain and unlettered, consistent with anonymous bracteate-style pfennig coinage of the Carinthian regional tradition.
