Obverse description Central field depicts a standing figure, likely a stylized eagle or heraldic device rendered in the crude, schematic style typical of Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs of the early 13th century. The design is executed in low relief characteristic of hammered coinage, with the motif occupying the majority of the irregular flan. Details are worn but the central device retains visible outline. The field is unbordered and the overall strike is off-center, consistent with hand-hammered production at the Gutenwerth mint.
