Obverse description Central field depicts a stylized facing bust or helmeted figure rendered in the crude, bold relief characteristic of late 14th-century Bavarian bracteate-style pfennigs. Flanking the central device are two small six-pointed stars positioned in the left and lower fields. The design is executed in low hammered relief with no surrounding legend, the entire composition contained within the irregularly shaped flan.

Reverse description Incuse impression of the obverse design, as is typical of thin hammered pfennigs of this period, showing the Wittelsbach arms — a lozenge-patterned shield — in shallow incuse relief at the center of the flan. The surrounding field is flat and plain, with the shield device clearly distinguishable despite the characteristic weakness of the hammered strike.
