| Obverse description | Rampant lion facing left occupying the central field, rendered in a crude Gothic style typical of mid-15th century Bohemian bracteate coinage. The lion displays a curled tail raised over its back and stylized mane, with forelegs raised in the traditional heraldic pose. The strike is irregular and slightly off-center, characteristic of hammered billon pfennigs of the period. The surface shows flat areas consistent with the weak striking pressure common to small denomination issues of the County of Glatz. |
