| Reverse description | Broad, lightly struck reverse showing a frontal crowned bust or architectural motif in low relief, typical of the obverse design bleeding through on the thin hammered flan. The central device appears to depict a crowned figure or architectural element, consistent with the Romanesque style of Austrian pfennigs of the Babenberg period. The surface shows the characteristic flatness and irregular flan edge of mid-twelfth-century Austrian hand-struck silver coinage. No distinct legend is present on this side. |
