Obverse description Frontal standing figure of a duke or ruler in high relief, rendered in the Romanesque style characteristic of 13th-century Austrian coinage. The figure is depicted wearing a long draped garment with horizontal ribbing and holds what appears to be a sceptre or lance in the right hand and an orb or similar regalia in the left. The head is crowned and faces the viewer directly, flanked by the separated legend letters S V T G arranged around the periphery of the irregular flan, with a small cross patée visible above at twelve o'clock.
