| Obverse description | Facing bust of a bishop in pontifical vestments, flanked on either side by a stylized tower, the whole enclosed within a double beaded inner circle. Above the bishop's head, a small angel bust is depicted in half-figure, rendered in the flat, linear style characteristic of medieval Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. The composition is contained within a broad, plain outer ring, with no legend present. The design is struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan typical of Friesacher Pfennig production. |
