| Obverse description | Full-length frontal effigy of a standing bishop facing forward, raising his right hand in benediction. His left hand holds a processional cross staff from which a narrow pennant or vexillum is suspended. The figure is rendered in the flat, hieratic style characteristic of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced coinage. A partial Latin legend appears in the field surrounding the figure. |
