Reverse description Frontal angel's head depicted with large, spread wings extending to either side, surmounted by a cross patee at the apex of the design. The facial features are rendered schematically in the Romanesque manner, with the wings forming a broad, shield-like compositional frame around the head. A globular element is visible below the face between the lower wing tips. A partial Latin legend runs around the periphery within the beaded border of the irregular flan.
