| Obverse description | Frontal bust of a bishop or ecclesiastical figure seated or enthroned, rendered in crude brachiate style characteristic of 13th-century Austrian-influenced pfennige. The figure wears a mitre and holds a crozier to the left; a small circular object, possibly an orb or reliquary, is held in the right hand. The field is flat and unbordered, with retrograde partial legend around the periphery. The striking is irregular, with weak areas consistent with hammered production on an uneven flan. |

| Reverse description | Three towers or turrets rising from a decorative architectural base, rendered in a schematic, linear style typical of brachiate pfennige of the period. A central cross or staff surmounts the middle tower, flanked by two slightly shorter lateral towers. The base features three rounded arches. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle and a plain outer border. The composition is symmetrical and characteristic of civic or episcopal heraldic imagery denoting the city of Trieste. |
