Obverse description Central field occupied by a stylized heraldic shield or escutcheon bearing a pattern of pellets or bezants, rendered in a bold, archaic manner characteristic of late 12th-century Styrian bracteate-influenced coinage. A large curved arc or crescent-like element frames the central device to the right, possibly representing an architectural or heraldic motif. The design is executed in low relief with broad, irregular strike typical of hammered silver pfennigs of the period. The flan is irregular and slightly lobate, with the partial legend CIA[---]NSI distributed around the field in fragmentary Latin characters.
