Obverse description Central design featuring a heraldic shield surmounted by a six-pointed star or floral ornament, flanked by concentric beaded borders forming a double arc. The shield displays a simplified geometric motif characteristic of the Laibach (Ljubljana) civic arms. The overall composition is set within a roughly square flan typical of Austrian hammered bracteate-style pfennigs of the early 13th century. The field is plain and the design is rendered in low relief with bold, stylized strokes.
