| Obverse description | Enthroned duke facing forward, holding a fleur-de-lis scepter in his left hand with the scepter head extending upward into the legend area; his right hand rests upon his hip. The ducal figure is rendered in a stylized Romanesque manner, seated in a formal regal pose. A Latin legend encircles the effigy, contained between two linear circles forming the border. |

| Reverse description | A frontal bust of a bishop with arms raised, supporting two towers above, the towers joined by a rounded dome upon which a ring is placed, forming a stylized architectural composition referencing the Heiligenkreuz foundation. The entire design is enclosed within a double beaded circle border. The imagery is characteristic of the Romanesque sacral style prevalent in Austrian ecclesiastical coinage of the early thirteenth century. |
