Reverse description A frontal bust of a bishop with arms raised, supporting two towers above, the towers joined by a rounded dome upon which a ring is placed, forming a stylized architectural composition referencing the Heiligenkreuz foundation. The entire design is enclosed within a double beaded circle border. The imagery is characteristic of the Romanesque sacral style prevalent in Austrian ecclesiastical coinage of the early thirteenth century.
