Obverse description Centrally positioned heraldic shield bearing a stylized panther or animal head, surmounted by a bovine head (cow's head) rendered in low relief. The design is executed in a bold, somewhat crude medieval hammered style typical of 14th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The irregular flan and shallow striking are characteristic of the period. No legend or inscription is present in the field.
