| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a stylized city gateway depicted in frontal view, its arch surmounted by an open compass — the heraldic emblem of the Campofregoso family. The gateway is rendered in the crude, angular style characteristic of medieval Genoese hammered coinage. A circular legend in Latin uncial characters surrounds the central device, identifying the issuing doge and his ordinal number among the doges of Genoa. |

| Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a bold cross pattée occupies the central field, its splayed arms nearly reaching the inner beaded border — a design type long maintained on Genoese petachine in reference to the Holy Roman imperial tradition. The surrounding circular legend in Latin uncial characters invokes Conrad, King of the Romans, a conventional formulaic reference perpetuated on Genoese coinage; the legend is terminated by the initial of the responsible mint official. |
