Obverse description Confronted busts of Gordian III, laureate and draped, facing right on the left, and a second figure, likely a local deity or magistrate, laureate and draped, facing left on the right. The two busts are presented face-to-face in the Homonoia typology, emphasizing concordance. A circular Greek legend surrounds the busts, with the abbreviation AVT K M below rendered in large incuse letters across the lower field. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with a dotted border visible on portions of the obverse.
