Reverse description A geometric design composed of a double quadrilateral with incurved sides, forming a lozenge-like voided frame at the centre of the field. An annulet is placed at the central intersection, and a fleur-de-lis or foliate ornament terminates each of the four limbs extending toward the coin's periphery. The design is executed with clean, angular lines typical of the Canopy type reverse, creating a cruciform composition within the double linear border. The Latin moneyer's legend is distributed around the periphery, naming the moneyer and his mint.
