| Obverse description | At center, a cross of Burgundy composed of two crossed branches, surmounted by a royal crown, with a firesteel of the Order of the Golden Fleece at the intersection dividing the date into two parts. The jewel of the Golden Fleece hangs below the cross on a short chain. The encircling Latin legend is separated from the central device by a beaded inner border, with the mint mark and date flanking the cross arms. |
