Reverse description Central device consists of two crossed sceptres or batons, each tipped with a fleur-de-lis and a small crown at the junction, with a crowned interlaced cipher of Charles II at the centre, flanked by two additional fleurs-de-lis in the lower field. Four crowns are placed at the cardinal points formed by the crossed sceptres. The surrounding Latin legend SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM ('Blessed be the name of the Lord') runs continuously between the inner border and the milled edge, a devotional motto characteristic of the patagon denomination.
