| Reverse description | A Zoroastrian fire altar with flowing ribbons depicted centrally, the shaft adorned with the fravahr (Ahura Mazda) symbol — a winged solar disc representing divine royal glory. The altar is flanked by two standing attendants, each wearing a mural crown, rendered in symmetrical composition as guardians of the sacred flame. To the right of the altar shaft appears the Pahlavi mint signature letter 's', identifying the issuing mint. The overall design follows the canonical Sasanian reverse type established for bronze coinage of this period. |
