Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription filling the entire field, executed in a flowing Nastaliq calligraphic style. The legend records the mint name and regnal details associated with Tipu Sultan's authority. The script is arranged in three or four horizontal lines across the flan with no border or additional ornamental devices. The strike is characteristic of the hand-struck production of the Bandar Calicut mint.
