| Reverse description | Plain or minimally detailed copper field with scattered die-flow lines and surface texture resulting from the hammered striking process. The reverse shows faint traces of a Persian legend arranged in registers, heavily worn and largely illegible, consistent with the crude production standards of Maratha provincial copper paise. The flan is irregular in outline with a rough, granular surface typical of cast or crudely prepared copper blanks used at the Srinagar mint. |
