Reverse description Reverse displays an Arabic or Persian inscription in two registers separated by a horizontal line, with a sword mint mark below identifying the Gwalior Fort mint. The sword device, a characteristic symbol of the Gwalior Fort mint, appears prominently in the lower field. The lettering is rendered in raised Nastaliq script on a flat, irregular copper flan consistent with hammered provincial coinage practice.
