Reverse description The reverse presents an equally crude hammered design featuring a stylized floral or foliate motif — possibly a simplified lotus or leaf spray — rendered in low relief at the centre of the irregular flan. The device occupies much of the field and is characteristic of the schematic decorative elements common to Maratha copper paisas of this period. The surface shows heavy granularity, verde antique patination, and hammer marks consistent with hand-struck production. No legend or mint mark is clearly discernible. The flan edges are irregular and scalloped from the hammering process.
