| Reverse description | Central device depicts the arms of the city of Toruń — a fortified gate surmounted by three mural crowns and a halved eagle above — all set within an ornate beaded inner circle. The mint date 1663 is divided to either side of the eagle, with the mintmaster's initials H D L flanking the city arms below. The denomination numeral 18 appears at the base of the design. The surrounding Latin legend reads MONETA NOVA CIVITATIS THORVNENSIS, identifying this as a new coin of the city of Toruń. |
