Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of August III (Augustus III of Poland, Elector of Saxony) facing right, wearing a crown and royal mantle with lace cravat visible at the neck. The effigy is rendered in a Baroque style typical of mid-18th century Polish-Saxon coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads around the periphery, divided by the bust.
