Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in naskh calligraphy filling the entire field, presenting the sultan's full honorific titulature. The legend reads 'Sultan of the two lands and the two seas, the Sultan, son of the Sultan,' a standard Ottoman imperial formula asserting sovereignty over both land and sea. The text is arranged in stacked horizontal registers across the irregular flan, with no border or additional decorative elements. The hammered strike produces varying depth across the inscription, consistent with provincial mint production at Aleppo. The coin's rough edge and irregular planchet are characteristic features of Ottoman hammered silver of this period.
