Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, stands facing left in a dynamic striding pose, her drapery billowing behind her. She holds a long spear or stylis upright in her raised right hand and carries a large oval shield on her left arm. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΥΡΡΟΥ (of King Pyrrhos) is inscribed in two lines flanking the figure, reading downward on either side. A small star or control mark appears in the left field.
