| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Domitianus, usurper of Egypt, facing right, wearing a radiate crown with prominent spikes. The effigy displays a bearded portrait rendered in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The circular legend ΔOMITI-ANOΣ ΣEB surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The workmanship reflects the irregular, hastily struck character typical of this rare usurper's brief issue. |
