| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II as Caesar facing right, viewed from slightly behind, displaying the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The youthful imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial Syrian style, with bold high-relief modelling characteristic of the Zeugma mint. The encircling legend in Greek identifies the emperor by his full imperial titulature. |
