Obverse description Bearded head of a Persian satrap in profile facing right, wearing a tiara or soft cap, rendered in archaic Greek style. The portrait is contained within a beaded border. The facial features are boldly rendered with a pronounced beard and strong profile, typical of Achaemenid satrapal coinage of the late 5th to mid-4th century BC.

Reverse description The Great King depicted bearded and crowned, kneeling to the right in the traditional Achaemenid royal posture. He holds a strung bow in his left hand and a long spear in his right hand, presented in the characteristic archer-king type associated with Persian imperial iconography.
