Obverse description Facing crowned royal effigy with the head turned to the left, enclosed within a beaded inner circle with a hoop or annulet positioned before the face. The design is executed in a crude hammered style typical of medieval Hungarian bracteate-influenced coinage. A peripheral legend in Latin characters surrounds the central motif along the coin's rim.
