Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, encircled by a wreath, rendered in a bold Hellenistic style typical of Pontic coinage of the 3rd century BC. The facial features, though worn, display the characteristic idealized profile of the god, with flowing hair swept back beneath the laurel crown. The flan is irregular, as is common for hammered bronze issues of the Bosporan Kingdom.
