Reverse description An ornate cartouche-style shield bearing the Columns of Gediminas (Pogon Litewski variant), depicting three vertical towers joined by a horizontal bar, the central tower topped with a pointed finial — the dynastic arms of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The date, appearing as Arabic numerals (e.g. 1547 on this example), is placed above the shield in the upper field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, with the shield rendered in the Renaissance heraldic style typical of the Wilno mint under Sigismund II Augustus.
