| Obverse description | Blank, uninscribed field presenting a convex, dome-like raised surface typical of Celtic hammered coinage of this period. The surface bears no intentional design elements, displaying only the natural texture and flow lines resulting from the striking process. This featureless obverse is characteristic of small Celtic fractional silver coins where the obverse die was left plain, concentrating iconographic detail on the reverse. |

| Additional information |
The Boii of Bohemia were expelled from their territory by the Marcomanni around 9–8 BC, making the later end of this type's production range a matter of contested archaeology rather than historical record. Roseldorf itself — a major oppidum site in Lower Austria — has yielded significant concentrations of these fractional pieces, suggesting the site functioned as a ritual or market center where small silver denominations actually changed hands rather than simply being hoarded.
At under a gram, these were genuine transaction coins, not prestige issues.
