Obverse description Facing female head rendered in fine archaic style, framed within a beaded border. The face is depicted frontally with large almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and full lips. The hair falls in wavy locks to either side of the head, adorned with a diadem or wreath. A necklace or torque is visible at the base of the neck, suggesting a divine or regal identification, possibly the goddess Aphrodite or Arethusa.
