Reverse description A stylised châtel or tête blésoise (Bleso-Chartraine head type) occupies the centre of the field, rendered as a schematic architectural or bust motif consistent with the feudal imitative coinage of the Bourbonnais region. The design derives from the Blois-Chartres monetary tradition and is characteristic of small feudal billon issues of the period. A circular outer legend in uncial Latin letters encircles the central device, partially visible on this irregularly struck flan.
