Obverse description Bearded head of Pan facing left, wearing an ivy wreath, rendered in bold relief with pronounced facial features including a snub nose, full beard with flowing locks, and characteristic wild, disheveled hair. The god's expression is vigorous and rustic, consistent with the Hellenistic artistic tradition associated with Pontic coinage. The portrait fills the flan with sculptural confidence, exhibiting fine engraving in the hair and beard despite the bronze medium.
